Check out is no later than 11:00am on the day of departure.

You should bring with you:

  • Chocks/Levellers – some of our pitches are on a slope, so levellers are essential!
  • EHU lead – the hook up could be on either side of your vehicle, so we recommend leads of a minimum 15m in length (the use of splitters is not permitted)
  • Water hose with attachment – the hook up could be on either side of your vehicle, so we recommend leads of a minimum 15m in length (the use of splitters is not permitted)
  • Outdoor furniture

Should you wish to bring an awning, please add this as an extra at the time of booking so that we can allocate you an appropriate pitch. When your touring vehicle is parked on your pitch, we ask that your awning is attached to the vehicle at all times. We endeavour to take your requirements into account when allocating the Abbeyfield pitches. We recommend that you let us know at the time of booking if you have any special requirements for your holiday so that we have the opportunity to allocate you the most suitable pitch wherever possible. Please get in contact with our helpful Customer Care Team, who can answer any questions you may have before booking.

We welcome the use of BBQs in the Abbeyfield Touring area – but ask you to think of the stunning local environment, and only bring a reusable one. We do not permit disposable BBQs anywhere on the park. All BBQs must be raised off of the ground, and should only be burned using charcoal or gas; we do not allow any camp fires on the park.

What else to expect:

A beautifully varied landscape, including some woodland areas, mean that some of our Abbeyfield Pitches are situated under the trees of nesting Rooks and their young. The nesting season for our rooks is between spring and early summer, and during this time they do make a considerable amount of noise which may wake you up in the morning – they may also leave some unwanted gifts on your vehicle! Though the noise doesn’t affect all of our guests, you may wish to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Find out more about our resident rooks.

Please note there is no Wi-Fi available in this area. Free Wi-Fi is available for use in the Bar & Restaurant.

You may find it useful to download our Park Map to see the location of the Abbeyfield Touring Pitches in relation to other areas of the park.

Before you book, please read our Terms and Conditions & Park Rules.
