Our wooden Camping Pods are a great ‘back to nature’ experience. A mere 200m from the coastal path, they are ideal for walkers, cyclists and all those who like to travel light, while out exploring the Jurassic Coast. Camping Pods are the best of both worlds if you enjoy the camping lifestyle but prefer the warmth and comfort afforded by a solid structure.
Dorset is a fantastic place to enjoy starry skies. Enjoy sunrise and sunset at Durdle Door with unrivalled access to the coastal path from your camping pod.
Situated within the wooded Rookery camping area (complete with nesting rooks) or Abbeyfield touring, Camping Pods sleep up to four people in one double and two single beds. The camping pods are dog friendly, and come with a lockable door, covered porch, boot storage, picnic table, bed frames and mattresses, electric sockets, lights and heater. Please be aware that some of our Camping Pods are under the trees of the Rookery. The Rookery is home to our resident rooks, who nest with their young in the open canopy trees. The nesting season begins in Spring and comes to a close in the middle of Summer. During this time they can make a considerable amount of noise, starting in the early morning and quietening down later in the evening, as well as creating large amounts of bird mess.
Parking for one car next to your camping pod is included; extra cars are an additional charge and you may not be able to park next to your camping pod.
You will have access to our newly updated shower and toilet block and dishwashing area with a washing machine. Just bring your own bedding and towels (or hire from Reception).
Before you book, please read our Terms & Conditions which can be found here.
