What did you have in mind for your get away on the Jurassic Coast? We’ve gathered our touring and camping pitches below to help you pick the perfect pitch…

Please note: we recommend bringing an EHU lead and water hose that are at least 15 metres long to reach the hook up points on some of our larger touring pitches.

Abbeyfield Touring Pitches:

Gravel-standing, allocated pitches, with electric and water. Hedged on 3 sides, with access to grey waste and chemical disposal elsewhere on the park. Bring a vehicle up to 8.5m long, with drive away awnings welcome. Find out more about our Abbeyfield Touring Pitches here. Accepts roof-tents and trailer-tents (where used as the sole sleeping area). Please note that no gazebos or tents are allowed on these pitches.

Sea View Campervan Pitches:

Unallocated, sloped, grass standing pitches, with a view of the sea – suitable for campervans and small motorhomes 5.5m or less. Situated at the back of the public car park. Electric hook-up on the pitch, with access to grey waste, chemical disposal and water elsewhere on the park. No drive away awnings. Find out more about our Sea View Campervan Pitches here. Please note that no gazebos, tents or windbreaks are allowed on these pitches.

Rookery Camping Pitches

Camping pitches designed for tents, under the trees of the Rookery. Bring one tent up to 18m², and choose from our unallocated spaces. These pitches are non-electric and grass standing. A maximum of one tent per pitch. Find out more about our Rookery Camping Pitches here.

Facilities:

When staying in any of our camping or touring pitches, you and your fellow campers and tourers will have access to a variety of facilities and amenities, including our shower & toilet block with baby changing facilities, water points, and a dish washing area with shared fridge-freezer, and USB charging points available for your use. Our on-site Shop provides all the essentials you may need (or that you forgot to pack!) and the Man O’ War Bar & Restaurant gives you tasty dining options without the need for travel. If you’re bringing the children along, they’ll love our adventure play parks!

Ask us about our Accessible facilities: our toilet & shower block has a private Accessible Wet room facility, requiring a radar key to gain access. Our friendly Customer Care Team are available to answer any queries you may have by phone or email, or you can visit our Accessibility page for more information on the general park.

Free Wi-Fi is available for use in the Bar & Restaurant.

Arrival and Departures

Check in for all camping and touring is from 2:00pm on the day of arrival. Check in must be before 9:00pm. There is no parking available on the park prior to check in.

Check out is no later than 11:00am on the day of departure.

Prices vary depending on the time of year you wish to visit. There is an additional charge for any extra vehicles that you bring with you to the Park. Please note that you may not be able to park your car directly next to your tent or pitch.

It is worth noting that the nesting season for our rooks is between spring and early summer, and during this time they do make a considerable amount of noise which can wake you up in the morning – they may also leave some unwanted gifts on your tent or car! Though the noise doesn’t affect all of our guests, you may wish to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Find out more about our resident rooks.

Please note you are not permitted to sleep in your car anywhere on the park.

You may find it useful to download our Park Map to see how each area lies in relation to one another.

Before you book, please read our Terms and Conditions & Park Rules.
