Shepherds Huts

Brand new for 2022, our gorgeous Shepherds Huts are an exciting addition to our ‘glamping’ accommodation.

Located in The Rookery camping area, our Shepherds Huts are a fantastic option for those who love the great outdoors.  A mere 200m from the coastal path, they are ideal for walkers, cyclists and all those who like to travel light, while out exploring the Jurassic Coast. Shepherds Huts are a little touch of luxury with a ‘back to nature’ vibe, giving you all the warmth and comfort you’re looking for, with a quirky twist.

Dorset is a fantastic place to enjoy starry skies. Enjoy sunrise and sunset at Durdle Door with unrivalled access to the coastal path from your Shepherds Hut.

Shepherds Huts have bags of personality and can sleep up to four people in one double bed and one sofa bed. All of our Shepherds Huts are pet free accommodation. The Shepherds Huts come with a mirror, TV, picnic table, the double bed made up on arrival (sofa bed linen available at an additional cost), electric sockets, lights and heater. Please be aware that our Shepherds Huts are under the trees of the Rookery. The Rookery is home to our resident rooks, who nest with their young in the open canopy trees. The nesting season begins in Spring and comes to a close in the middle of Summer. During this time they can make a considerable amount of noise, starting in the early morning and quietening down later in the evening, as well as creating large amounts of bird mess. Parking for one car next to your Shepherds Hut is included; extra cars are an additional charge and you may not be able to park next to your accommodation.

Please note there is no Wi-Fi available in this area. Free Wi-Fi is available for use in the Bar & Restaurant.

You will have access to our newly updated shower and toilet block and dishwashing area with a washing machine. Just bring your own towels (or hire from Reception).

Arrival and Departures

Check in for Shepherds Huts is from 4:00pm on the day of arrival. Check in must be before 9:00pm, unless arranged with us prior to your arrival. Please vacate the Shepherds Hut before 10:00am on your day of departure.
