Our Sea View Campervan Pitches are a great stop to add to your tour of the Jurassic Coast. These pitches are positioned just outside of the Holiday Park at the back of the public car park for Durdle Door. As the name suggests, these pitches overlook the sea with views of Portland on a clear day. In peak times the car park will be busy, though once it closes each evening, you are left to enjoy the views.

These pitches are for vehicles 5m in length or less only.

These are grass standing pitches, set on a significant slope – please remember to bring your chocks or levellers! Electric hook-up is available on the pitch, and shared water points are a short distance away. On the park, you have access to grey waste disposal, chemical disposal and additional water points. The toilet & shower block are a 400m walk from the Sea View Pitches. Please note: we recommend bringing an EHU lead that is at least 15 metres long to reach the hook up points on some of our larger pitches.

Though we do allow awnings on the Sea View, they must remain attached to your vehicle at all times, we do not allow awnings to be left unattended on the Sea View Pitches. Please note that no gazebos or tents are allowed on these pitches. Our Sea View Pitches are unallocated. If you are looking to bring a drive away awning, you may wish to look at our Abbeyfield Pitches. Unfortunately, we do not allow tents on our touring pitches. If you are interested in booking a pitch for a tent, check out our Rookery Camping Pitches.

We have a variety of facilities and amenities available for you and your fellow campers and tourers to use on the park, including our shower & toilet block with baby changing facilities, water points, and a dishwashing area with shared fridge-freezer, and USB charging points available for your use. Our on site Shop provides all the essentials you may need (or that you forgot to pack!) and the Man O’ War Bar & Restaurant is less than a 5 minute walk from the Sea View Pitches, giving you tasty dining options without the need for travel. If you’re bringing the children along, they’ll love our adventure play parks!

Ask us about our Accessible facilities: our toilet & shower block has a private Accessible Wet room facility, requiring a radar key to gain access. Our friendly Customer Care Team are available to answer any queries you may have by phone or email, or you can visit our Accessibility page for more information on the general park.

We welcome the use of BBQs in the Sea View Campervan area – but ask you to think of the stunning local environment, and only bring a reusable one. We do not permit disposable BBQs anywhere on the park. All BBQs must be raised off of the ground, and should only be burned using coal or gas; we do not allow any camp fires on the park.

Please note there is no Wi-Fi available in this area. Free Wi-Fi is available for use in the Bar & Restaurant.

Included in the price is one touring pitch for up to 6 people, for one tourer. Additional cars can be added to your booking as an extra, but it may not be possible to park these on the pitch. Prices vary depending on the time of year that you wish to visit.

We do accept roof-tents and trailer-tents, however these are allowed in the Abbeyfield Touring Area only. All campervans/van conversions must have at the very minimum a fixed bed/rock & roll bed and built in storage cupboards. Please note we do not accept sign written vehicles, as well as converted buses, horseboxes and trucks on any of our Touring Pitches.

You may find it useful to download our Park Map to see the location of the Sea View Campervan Pitches in relation to other areas of the park.

Before you book, please read our Terms and Conditions & Park Rules.
