Enjoy festive chalet stalls selling gifts, crafts, and seasonal food like bratwurst, waffles, and mulled wine. The Alpine Lodge Bar, live music, and snowfall effects add to the Christmas atmosphere. Nearby attractions include the Christmas Tree Wonderland light trail, SKATE Bournemouth ice rink, and Santa’s Workshop in the Lower Gardens. Put on the Christmas music and have an easy drive from Durdle Door to Bournemouth.
13th November 2025 – January 4th 2026 – Christmas Tree Wonderland, Bournemouth
The biggest Dorset town is having a free festive trail of hundreds of illuminated trees and light installations throughout Bournemouth’s Victorian Lower Gardens! Features include a Christmas tree maze, Santa’s Express mini-train, live entertainment, seasonal workshop, Big Wheel, Alpine markets, and more.
6th-23rd December – Christmas at Farmer Palmers

14th December – Christmas Fun at Lulworth Castle
Daytime: 10.30am – 4.00pm | Evening: 5.00pm – 8.30pm | Lulworth Castle, BH20 5QS
Just a 10 minute drive from Durdle Door Holiday Park! Festive activities including a cracker and gingerbread hunt, sports games, crafts, and a visit to the 14ft Christmas tree, tower, and playground. Enjoy treats in the tearoom or lunch at the Weld Arms Pub.
In the evening (5pm–8:30pm), return for a special “castle after dark” experience with the castle lit up, star gazing, and more indoor trails and crafts.
14th December- Dorchester Christmas Cracker
A straightforward drive from Durdle Door you will find Dorchester, where this Christmas market will be held. Expect nearly 150 stalls featuring festive market goods and local crafts as well as an indoor craft fair & more traders inside the Corn Exchange.
