5 Reasons to Buy a Holiday Home in the Staycation Boom

The restrictions on foreign travel are creating a huge staycation boom – a revival of the Great British Holiday right here in the UK. Owning a Holiday Home of your very own is a great way to make the most of it and secure a piece of paradise for your very own.
1️⃣ Make the ‘staycationers’ work for you: offset the running costs by subletting your Holiday Home to the thousands of people staying in the UK for 2021. With fewer options for travel further abroad, families and couples are looking closer to home for their holidays. This could be a short break, annual big family trip or something in between. You could capture all of these holidaymakers- with bookings looking oversubscribed for many of the key dates next year such as Easter and May half term.

2️⃣ Location, location, location. Durdle Door is such a unique landmark it feels like a holiday all summer long! The crystal clear Blue Flap beaches of Durdle Door, Man O’War and Lulworth Cove are all within a short walk of your Holiday Home and are easily mistaken for the Mediterranean. Lots of people come each year to this honeypot attraction year round, which means family and friends will be clamouring to stay with you to experience it for themselves!

3️⃣ Find a home away from home to suit you. We have a wide range of price points from family starter homes to luxury models. Many Holiday Home manufacturers are struggling to keep up with demand, so why not take a look at our on-site sales stock?

4️⃣ Design your outdoors space to reflect your personal style. It’s not just the Holiday Home itself you can choose. We offer a bespoke decking and landscaping service. Our new Newlands View development features brand new, untouched plots where you can really make your mark. Will you choose a driveway, patio, BBQ zone, al fresco dining space, or even a combination of these?

5️⃣ Buy now, move in on 1st March! The Holiday Park is closed for the winter as usual, and we can’t wait to reopen again next year. By buying now, your Holiday Home will be sited, plumbed in and ready for you to move in as soon as we open for your very own staycation boom!
If this isn’t enough to convince you, browse our Sales pages or book in a VIP tour.

What are the yearly running costs of owing a holiday? How long can you own a home for ? Any service charges?
Looking foward to hear from you.
    Kind Regards

    • Cally Strowbridge says:

Thanks for your comment Marianna – a brand new holiday home would have a 15 year licence to stay at our Park. Site fees are from £4,375 depending on the pitch you choose. Other costs to consider include insurance, annual gas & electric, and winterisation. I hope this helps!
